Jay and Jo Hipp met in 2014 while deployed to Afghanistan. Jay was an engineer in the South Carolina Army National Guard and Jo was an Army intelligence officer. In 2021, after years of living apart, Jo requested an assignment to Fort Gordon, GA so they could finally by a house together and plant roots in Augusta.
Our Story
Jo was raised in a huge family that gathered frequently but needed a lot of space, and entertainment for all ages. The Hipp's opened "Augusta Oasis" in 2022 to provide families like theirs a comfortable and affordable place to reconnect and relax.
